Electronic Power Steering (EPS)
as for the EPS
(electronic power steering) system, when the vehicle steers, the torque (steering) sensor will send the torque of steering wheel and the direction to be rotated to electronic control unit through signal; the electronic control unit will send an action instruction to motor controller according to the signal, and the motor will output corresponding rotating torque according to the specific needs, thus generating power assisted steering. If the vehicle does not steer, then the system does not work and is at standby status, ready for calling.
Better direction sense and more stable at high speed;
Fuel economy being improved;
Noise of steering system being reduced;
About 25% weight decreased.
