


Chile will receive the first foreign enterprise’s donation after the earthquake. Chery, the biggest auto manufacturer of China, launched its aid operation on March 1, and donated 500 tents.
Chery said, the 500 tents were only its first relief effort and more help for recovery will be considered after the assessment by the task force jointly organized by Chery, Chery International and Chery local dealer in Chile, SK. It is reported that in 2008, Chery donated a total value of nearly $4.4million relief funds and materials after 5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake in China.
