Chery TIGGO 3 Becomes Most Popular Chinese Model in Russia

Days ago, AUTOSTAT, an authoritarian organ in Russia released latest data, revealing that TIGGO3 of Chery ranks No. 1 among the Most Popular Chinese Models in Russia. This is another honor of Chery after the brand won the Most Welcomed Chinese Model in Russia for three times in a row.

AUTOSTAT  the largest and most authoritarian analytical organ of auto industry, which releases data and reports on auto industry development in Russia on a regular basis. According to AUTOSTAT, as of July 1, 2018, 576,500 Chinese auto units had been sold in Russia market, in which TIGGO3 takes nearly 10%, or about 56,200 units, ranking No. 1 among all models of the Chinese auto brands. TIGGO3 of Chery, after experiencing a few replacements of generation, is gradually becoming the star product in Russia. At the same time, TIGGO3 of Chery is also one of the most popular products for global consumers, whose sales in the world exceed one million units.

In recent years, Chery products have gained numerous awards and honors in spite of the fierce competition in the world. TIGGO2 of Chery was elected as the Best Selling Model in Chile; TIGGO3 won the Award of Best Selling Model in Peru. ARRIZO5 won the C-NCAP five-star collision safety. TIGGO7 received the Best Batch Production Auto Model for the Year by the famous auto magazine CARSTYLING. Behind these achievements, we can see Chery’s pursuit for precision and innovation of products.

Since entering Russia market in 2005, Chery has obtained favor and love from Russian users thanks to its ARRIZO sedan series represented by ARRIZO5, and the TIGGO SUV series represented by TIGGO3, TIGGO5 and TIGGO7. In August 2018, TIGGO2 of Chery was launched in sharing platform of Russia, winning the favor from Russian users. TIGGO4, which represents the latest manufacturing technology and level of Chery, will also be launched in Russian market. As new products come to Russia, Chery will improve its market and product layout in the country, thus providing more choices for Russian consumers and bringing premium experience in driving and riding.
