Stay true to the mission, restart for a new journey - Chery wins "Best Overseas Image Award" once again

 

The Summit on Overseas Image of Chinese Enterprises, guided by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee (State Council Information Office) and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, hosted by the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, organized by China Report Office, opened in Beijing on December 12, 2018. Among more than 300 attendees were Chinese ambassadors to foreign countries, heads of multinational corporations, as well as experts and scholars in fields such as research, communication and media. The forum released the 2018 Survey Report on Overseas Image of Chinese Enterprises and the list of "2018 Top 20 Chinese Enterprises with the Best Overseas Image". With outstanding performance in years of overseas operations, Chery was ranked 5th on the list. It was the third time that Chery had won this honor.

Chery was listed among "2018 Top 20 Chinese Enterprises with the Best Overseas Image" because of its outstanding reputation developed through unremitting overseas operations. In 2018, Chery greatly enhanced its brand image and influence through a series of marketing campaigns and the launch of new products. In June, Chery embarked upon a "journey of FIFA World Cup Russia", inviting global fans to experience the charm of the World Cup; in October, Chery First Fan Festival opened and Chery invited global lucky fans to experience the brilliance of Chery and Chinese culture in China; in December, Club Deportivo Universidad Católica sponsored by Chery claimed the Prime Division title through intense competition. In 2018, Chery's new 2.0 products were launched around the world. Chery Tiggo 4 was launched in Chile, Peru, Egypt, Brazil and other overseas markets from April. Then Chery appeared brilliantly at the Cairo International Motor Show and the Sao Paulo International Motor Show, its strong product lineup attracted Brazilian President Michel Temer.

 

Chery's success has been inseparable from the recognition of global consumers. Chery registered an export volume of more than 10,000 units in November, up 20.9 percent month on month, and nearly 120,000 units from January to November (in excess of its total export volume in 2017), up 18.7 percent year on year. Guided by its internationalization strategy, Chery has set foot on more than 80 countries and regions. Currently, in the critical period for "going in and up", Chery is believed to achieve new breakthrough and make new innovation through steady operations.
