Moscow International Automobile Salon (MIAS), Russia's largest and most influential of its kind, opened atCrocusExpoInternationalConvention Center on August 27, 2014. Chery made fresh appearance with a strong lineup of eight models. At the exhibition, Chery officially launched Ambition-Line series including T21, M16 and A19 in Russia. In this series, T21 was launched abroad for the first time. James Hope, Chery's modeling director, was present and introduced the design concept of Chery's new Ambition-Line series.
Ambition-Line series comprehensively enhances sensory quality by leading lean design, improves driving feel with rigorous international technological standards, is up to international standards in terms of modeling, space, control stability and safety, and can fully meets customers' humanized demands.
As the first model launched by Chery with new brand image, M16 can give consumers superior experience in design, safety and comfort, and is particularly commendable in safety. It was rated as a five-star model in the C-NCAP collision test and achieved brilliant results in the collision test conducted in accordance with the standards of US authority IIHS.
Based on the new platform of Chery, T21 is one of the key models to show Chery’s strategic transformation. The selling points of mini model A19 are prominent, too. In Russia, both models have shown strong superiority over similar products in power, safety, configuration, exterior and interior comfort.
Since its entry into the Russian market in 2005, Chery has achieved a market inventory of 180,000 units ahead of other Chinese brands in Russia, thus enjoying high brand popularity and reputation locally. With the brilliant performance of T21 and A19 in early presales, Ambition-Line's launch at the exhibition will further enhance Chery's market competitiveness and brand image in Russia, and will perfect its product layout in Russia.
