Recently, in October, Chery and the National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed a significant MOU, marking Chery's official entry as the global sponsor for the National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This signing ceremony, held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, was attended by Kairat Boranbayev, President of the National Paralympic Committee of Kazakhstan, Zhu Shaodong, CEO of Chery Brand and Vice President of Chery International, and Beknur Nessipbayev, General Director of KMC Astana Motors.

This partnership exemplifies Chery's strong support for sports and its active implementation of its global ESG strategy. Chery understands that sports serve as a bridge for social inclusion and harmony, especially for para-athletes, whose accomplishments symbolize resilience and challenge social biases. Chery's collaboration with the National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan aims to advance para-sports and provide athletes a stage to fulfill their dreams. "Chery's support not only motivates us but also instills confidence in young athletes to believe in themselves and reach new heights," said Dastan Mukashbekov, bronze medalist at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. His words reflect the sentiments of the supported athletes and underscore Chery's contribution to sports development and social inclusion.

According to the MOU, both parties will collaborate in multiple essential areas. The main focus is on developing and supporting social projects to enhance the lives of people with disabilities. With Chery's backing, the National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan will organize a series of sports championships, providing a platform for athletes to showcase their talents and pursue their dreams. Chery will also offer prizes to the winners, recognizing their dedication and outstanding achievements in sports. Kairat Boranbayev, President of the National Paralympic Committee of Kazakhstan, praised the partnership, saying, "Signing the memorandum with the Chery brand is a significant step towards the development of the Paralympic movement in Kazakhstan. This partnership will help our athletes achieve new successes and continue to promote inclusive projects, creating better conditions for people with disabilities."

Prominent para-athletes also attended the signing ceremony, inspiring everyone with their stories and achievements. Their presence underscored the joint commitment of Chery and the National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan to advancing para-sports. Beknur Nessipbayev, General Director of KMC Astana Motors, said, "Paralympic athletes always represent our republic with dignity on the international stage, making all Kazakhstanis proud. Now is our time to follow your successes, take pride in you, and support the Paralympic movement in Kazakhstan. We hope that our collaboration will be beneficial for Kazakhstani Paralympians."
