On April 28th, the 2024 Chery International Business Conference was successfully held in Wuhu, China. Dealers and investors worldwide joined together to witness Chery's solid strides and brilliant achievements on the path of globalization.

After an engaging opening speech by the moderator, Mr. Zhu Shaodong, CEO of Chery Brand, delivered a report themed "EXPLORING THE NEW ERA," sharing the work summary and future development strategy of the Chery brand.

At the conference, Mr. Zhu emphasized Chery's aspiration to work together with all dealers and investors to build a system capable of supporting a sales target of a million units. In retrospect, every progress of Chery is a firm practice of the principle of "customer first." In 2023, Chery achieved remarkable results, with exports reaching 937,000 vehicles, making it China's top automotive export brand and earning the trust of more than 13 million customers worldwide. The foundation for these achievements lies in Chery's "close to the customers" strategy, deep understanding of market demands, and swift response to consumer feedback. These achievements are also the result of the relentless efforts of nearly 50,000 dealers worldwide, who transmit Chery's core values to global users through their professional skills and excellent service.

In an era of rapid globalization and fierce market competition, the next five years will be a critical period of life and death for Chinese automotive brands and their global counterparts. In this challenging landscape, sustainable growth can only be achieved by cultivating robust brand strength and multifaceted marketing capabilities, as relying solely on “predatory pricing”is not viable in the long term. Thus, Chery finds itself at a crucial juncture of transformation, necessitating the exploration of new avenues beyond conventional competition to establish a world-class brand marketing system.

In response, Chery has proposed five core competencies for building a world-class brand marketing system: product, brand, experience marketing, ecologic system, and ESG based on the responsibilities of global citizens. In terms of product quality, Chery is building the world's leading first electric-hybrid platform, which will have four drive modes: ICE, HEV, PHEV, and BEV, and surpass the five world's highest safety certifications of IIHS, C-NCAP, EUCAP, JNCAP, and NHTSA. In terms of brand, Chery will also build a lasting brand value through the strategies of "Labeling," "Sharpening," and "Globalizing." Currently, Chery is building the WCWL platform to establish Chery's ecological matrix through co-creation platforms, co-creation activities, co-creation products, and co-creation funds to make efforts in the global ecological market. In the future, Chery will further expand its presence in major international markets, engage in public welfare activities, and continue developing Chery's philanthropic initiatives, contributing Chery's strength to the world.

In addition, at this International Business Conference, Dr. Xu Youzhong gave an in-depth analysis of Chery's latest technological advances, demonstrating the brand's strong strength of innovation. Subsequently, the practical experience sharing of excellent dealers highlighted Chery's global network's strong vitality and success stories. At the awards ceremony, outstanding dealers were recognized for their excellence and hard work. Then, the highlight was gathering water from sources around the world. It is a fusion of cultures and concepts from different countries and symbolizes that Chery and its global partners are writing a brilliant chapter together!

At the end of the conference, Mr. Zhang Guibing, President of Chery International, delivered a concluding speech. He emphasized that the million-unit sales target for the marketing system is not only an outlook on another important milestone in the development course of the Chery brand but also a blueprint plan with high expectations for the entire dealer team.
