On the evening of December 14 (local time), fireworks streaked across Dubai’s night sky, illuminating the final silhouettes of the competition venues as the 2025 Asian Youth Para Games (AYPG) drew to a close amid waves of cheers. As the Official Partner and Exclusive Mobility Partner of the Games, Chery leveraged its inclusive technological prowess to empower the event throughout, creating numerous remarkable moments. From the AiMOGA robot Mornine joining APC Chairman Mr. Mijad in declaring the AYPG opening, to the pioneering robotic award ceremony; from donating sun protection supplies to all athletes ahead of the Games, to providing comprehensive shuttle and support services with the TIGGO family fleet, Chery dedicated itself to facilitating the event’s preparation and successful execution. As Zhu Shaodong, Executive Vice President of Chery International, stated in his closing ceremony speech: “Chery has always adhered to the principle of ‘In somewhere, For somewhere, Be somewhere’ to contribute to global sustainable development. It is our honor and pride to give back to society by supporting sports events.”

Looking back at the entire Games, Chery’s presence remained a constant companion to every thrilling moment. At the world’s first AI-powered award ceremony, Chery’s self-developed AiMOGA robot Mornine flawlessly executed the entire process of grasping, moving forward and presenting awards. Its smooth, precise movements—accomplished within minutes—showcased Chery’s profound technological expertise. This technology-driven humanistic ceremony earned sustained applause from the audience.

Chery’s commitment as a guardian was further demonstrated at the send-off ceremonies for four national teams. At these events, the TIGGO family stood in formation, providing escort services for the athletes throughout the journey. Boasting a comfortable, spacious interior, the efficient and reliable Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) technology, and a robust safety body structure honored with dual five-star ratings from ANCAP and ENCAP, Chery built a comprehensive travel safety net. This enabled athletes to focus solely on competition, free from logistical concerns.

This companionship and empowerment began at the opening ceremony. At the ceremony venue, Chery’s meticulously designed booth featured numerous highlights. The TIGGO family made a stunning collective appearance, attracting many athletes to stop and experience the vehicles firsthand. They could not only personally feel the premium spaciousness of the TIGGO9 but also interact deeply with Mornine, listening to its detailed explanations of the vehicles’ technical specifications, and immersing themselves in Chery’s technological allure.
On the field, the true protagonists were always those striving with all their might. Driven by unwavering dreams, they pushed past physical limitations to face every challenge: some overcame physical impairments to hold their ground amidst swift transitions between offense and defense; others, armed with clear tactical thinking, precisely controlled the rhythm in contests against opponents of varying strengths; still others, even as they approached their physical limits, persevered with tenacious will until the final moment. As each act of self-transcendence unfolded, thunderous applause erupted from inside and outside the arena—every cheer was a warm tribute to such resilience and determination.

From the technological showcase at the opening ceremony to comprehensive mobility support throughout the Games, from witnessing heartwarming moments within the venues to providing full-scale support outside—why has Chery consistently stood alongside the Asian Para Games?
Firstly, the foundation of this partnership lies in Chery’s deep recognition of the Games’ core values. In Chery’s view, the Asian Para Games are far more than a mere sporting competition; they are a public inspiration to champion the power of life, equality, respect and social value. This aligns perfectly with the people-oriented spirit consistently upheld in Chery’s ESG philosophy. Chery’s pursuit of value has never been limited to commercial success; it also encompasses the proactive fulfillment and continuous advancement of social responsibility. The core values embodied by the Asian Para Games resonate deeply with Chery’s understanding of social responsibility, forming the essential premise for their collaboration.
Secondly, partnering with the Asian Para Games represents a new practice for Chery to fulfill social responsibility through sports as a bridge. Statistics indicate that 16% of the global population lives with disabilities. The Asian Para Games provide this community with a grand stage to showcase themselves and pursue athletic dreams, allowing their efforts and sweat to be seen and recognized worldwide. Chery has long paid close attention to the disabled community, having previously collaborated with the Kazakhstan Paralympic Committee and the Asian Paralympic Committee on various initiatives.
Chery has a presence in over 120 countries and regions worldwide, with a cumulative global user base exceeding 18.28 million. However, throughout its 24-year globalization journey, Chery has never simply sold products overseas. Instead, it actively participates in local economic and social development and undertakes public welfare initiatives. Chery has supported UNICEF in providing nearly 40 million children and adolescents—including 17 million affected by emergencies—with quality educational opportunities. It has also partnered with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) to promote the protection of vulnerable ecosystems globally. Chery remains committed to spreading warmth and responsibility across the world, fully integrating into local ecosystems, truly “becoming a local enterprise”, and creating value for the countries and communities it serves.

On a deeper level, Chery is leveraging the inclusive spirit of the Asian Para Games as a bond to build a sustainable collaboration network spanning enterprises, industrial chains and international organizations. This represents a unique path forged by Chery as an automotive industry benchmark—striving for both commercial success and ESG responsibility in tandem.

At the corporate operation level, Chery has established five national-level green factories, dedicated to steering its business toward sustainable transformation. Within the industrial chain, Chery announced the launch of a Global ESG Alliance, extending ESG cooperation initiatives to its global dealer network. In collaboration with international organizations, Chery not only embeds the people-centric core into every aspect of its products and user services but also extends this commitment to often-overlooked groups such as persons with disabilities and vulnerable children, achieving deep integration of commercial and social value.
As the closing ceremony fireworks faded, the spirit of “Born to Rise” transcended the competition venues. Chery will continue to take technology as its wings and responsibility as its cornerstone. Beyond commercial success, it is committed to building a more inclusive and courageous social future. The journey continues; the ascent never ceases. This long-term commitment—forging ahead with passion and resonating with the times—will ultimately illuminate a more far-reaching path forward.
