In the first three quarters, Chery Group sold a total of 2,206,789 vehicles worldwide, a year-on-year increase of 9.9%, reaching an all-time high for the same period. Global deliveries totaled 1,551,178 vehicles, up 65.6% year-on-year, already surpassing the full-year total for last year. New energy vehicle sales came in at 858,524 units, an increase of 46.1% year-on-year, with wholesale volumes consistently ranking among the industry’s top three. By the end of September, Chery Group had served more than 20.73 million vehicle users worldwide, including over 7.39 million users in markets outside China.
As a Hong Kong-listed company, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. (9973.HK) recorded September sales of 276,949 vehicles, up 8.4% year-on-year; from January to September, cumulative sales reached 2,076,891 vehicles, an increase of 10.5% year-on-year.
NEVs: wholesale volumes among industry top three, global share among top five
In the first three quarters, Chery Group’s new energy vehicle sales exceeded 850,000 units, with monthly sales surpassing 100,000 units for six consecutive months and wholesale volumes, since April, consistently ranking among the industry’s top three. According to data from the Secretary-General of the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), Chery Group’s global market share in new energy vehicle sales reached 5.5% from January to July 2026, placing the Group among the world’s top five automotive groups in this segment.
Blockbuster models continue to drive growth: the all-new Chery Q has maintained monthly sales above 10,000 units for six consecutive months and still holds a backlog of 100,000 global orders awaiting delivery; FREELANDER 8 targets the new-tech luxury segment and secured more than 5,000 firm orders within 12 hours of launch; the all-new Traveller 7 leverages its robust product capabilities to redefine the value benchmark for E-CUBE models; ZONGHENG G700 targets the luxury off-road segment and has sold more than 30,000 vehicles globally within 11 months of launch, ranking first among Chinese luxury SUVs in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Mexico and five other countries.

In Europe’s highly regulated markets, Chery is achieving breakthroughs in both volume and quality. In the first eight months of this year, Chery sold 234,000 vehicles across 24 European countries, representing year-on-year growth of 193%, including more than 114,000 new energy vehicles, which grew by over three times year-on-year. In August, with sales of 8,618 vehicles, Chery topped the UK new-vehicle sales brand ranking, surpassing brands such as Volkswagen, Ford and BMW, with year-on-year growth of 249.61%. JAECOO 7, JAECOO 5 and OMODA 5 all entered the UK top ten bestseller list, giving Chery three positions in the ranking.
