WUHU, China, October 20, 2026 — As the global automotive industry accelerates its transition towards electrification and intelligent mobility, leadership in individual hardware technologies is no longer sufficient to secure a lasting competitive advantage. The ability to apply automotive-grade technologies across diverse scenarios while adapting to regional regulations and infrastructure requirements has become increasingly critical to global competitiveness.

On October 20, the 2026 Chery Global Innovation Conference opened in Wuhu, showcasing Chery’s technology ecosystem built on CheryMind, a domain-specific foundation model purpose-built for physical AI, and its independently developed and controlled Ziwei chips. Extending its technological capabilities beyond conventional vehicles, Chery highlighted AiMOGA embodied AI robots, autonomous Robotaxi mobility solutions and end-to-end energy replenishment systems as key applications, demonstrating how its automotive-grade engineering expertise is being extended and deployed across new sectors.
Technologies developed for intelligent vehicles, including perception, decision-making and motion control, offer significant potential for applications beyond automotive manufacturing.
Drawing on Chery's automotive supply chain and reusing 70% of its R&D technologies, AiMOGA Robotics has developed its MoAgent intelligent agent, bringing automotive-grade quality standards, engineering capabilities and mass-production cost advantages into robotics.
AiMOGA showcased its full product portfolio, including Mobo, a humanoid robot designed for home companionship, alongside robots developed for public services and other applications. Its products have reached more than 60 countries and regions, with commercial deliveries exceeding 3,000 units.
In autonomous mobility, Chery presented its purpose-built, factory-integrated Level 4 Robotaxi, developed for global markets. Equipped with Chery's Falcon Pilot intelligent driving technology, the vehicle supports automated passenger pickup and drop-off, as well as coordinated operations with autonomous charging robots.
Chery's intelligent driving systems have completed certifications under international regulatory frameworks, including UN/ECE. The technologies are designed to meet regulatory requirements and adapt to diverse road conditions across more than 130 countries and regions.
The same technological foundation is also supporting innovations in other sectors. Chery showcased the Lingxiao J506 passenger-carrying electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, designed to achieve a top speed exceeding 350 km/h and a range of more than 1,000 kilometres.
In agriculture, Chery has extended its high-voltage electrification technologies and AI algorithms to intelligent farming equipment. The company reports more than 66,700 hectares of cumulative automated field operations, demonstrating the wider potential of automotive technology in agricultural productivity and sustainable development.
Beyond mobility, Chery demonstrated its Volt-dragon ultra-fast charging technology and a vehicle-to-grid (V2G) smart energy demonstration station, integrating solar power generation, battery storage and megawatt-level ultra-fast charging into a local microgrid.
Through bidirectional V2G technology, electric vehicles can move beyond their conventional role as electricity consumers and serve as mobile energy storage units. By feeding stored electricity back into the grid when needed, participating vehicles can help balance electricity demand and support more efficient energy management.
Chery's integrated solar, energy storage and charging solutions have also demonstrated commercial potential in Europe. At an electric heavy-truck facility in Spain, a solar-plus-storage microgrid has replaced diesel-powered electricity generation, significantly reducing operating costs, according to the company.
Building on these applications, Chery plans to establish 20,000 V2G-enabled stations worldwide by 2029. The initiative is intended to provide practical energy solutions for markets with less-developed electricity infrastructure while supporting the transition towards lower-carbon transportation.
The technologies showcased at the conference are not standalone innovations, but interconnected applications built on CheryMind, a domain-specific foundation model purpose-built for physical AI, and Chery's independently controlledchip technologies. From the earliest stages of R&D, Chery takes into account regional differences in regulations, electricity grids and road conditions, putting its strategy of global R&D tailored to local market requirements into practice.
For global markets, Chery is demonstrating capabilities that extend beyond conventional vehicle manufacturing. Supported by a robust and reliable technology foundation, the company aims to translate cutting-edge innovations into sustainable solutions spanning mobility, energy and everyday life worldwide.
